Breaking News: PHP Security Vulnerabilities – Current innovaphone Products Are Not Affected

First, the good news: Our current products are not affected by the recently disclosed PHP security vulnerabilities. The PBX firmware, myApps, our phones and gateways, as well as the current App Platform do not use PHP.

Partner apps downloaded from our App Store are also safe from these vulnerabilities. Please note: If a partner app connects to external servers, the respective operators are responsible for their security. For more detailed information, please contact the specific app partner directly.

Important note for users of the legacy Linux Application Platform: This platform has been discontinued for a long time. It is based on PHP 5 and is affected by the vulnerability. There will be no fix for this version. If you are still using it, please make sure it cannot be accessed from the internet. We strongly recommend switching to the current App Platform.

Regarding our online services (Class, Mantis, and Wiki): We are currently checking if they are affected. As a precaution, these services are temporarily unavailable. Our team is working hard to restore them safely as quickly as possible.

Our updated DNV system approval TAA00003DD Rev 1 additionally covers the IP17x intercom series and talkback functionality.

Beyond existing DNV requirements for telephone systems, our solution now meets approval criteria for talkback systems. This expansion allows direct voice connections between the bridge and the engine room.

For your operations, this update means you can bundle onboard telephony and talkback into a single system. You save space and manage your communication centrally.

You are sitting in a meeting when your phone rings. Or you need to reach a colleague who is already on another call. Presence Integration in innovaphone myApps lets you see who is available before dialing while managing your own availability at the same time.

To achieve this visibility, myApps consolidates presence data from telephony, calendars and connected applications such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Webex. Your status updates automatically and displays across the corporate directory, chat interfaces, the Softphone App and desk phones.

For your convenience: You can route incoming calls automatically based on your current status. For instance, the system redirects calls to the main office during a meeting or forwards them to voicemail during absences. You define the rules, while myApps automatically handles the routing.
