This scenario surely sounds all too familiar to you: you are sitting in the car and would like to make a phone call while you are on the road but your phone cannot establish proper data connection. Or you are working remotely from home and your WiFi keeps playing up because the router is giving you trouble. We are just very much used to being available with our typical modes of communication and we expect our smartphones to work at all times.
But what can we do when stable data connection simply cannot be established? What if we desperately depend on real-time communication?

The RCC app (Remote Call Control app) is used to operate any end device and to make or accept phone calls on this end device via the familiar and intuitive myApps interface. This end device can be any conventional telephone such as a telephone at home, in the hotel or in an external conference room. GSM calls via smartphones or tablets can also be managed using the RCC app. With the RCC app, the user can always be reached at the own personal extension phone number, regardless of what device is being used. This applies to inbound and outbound calls: the caller ID transmitted to the called party will always display the user’s extension (innovaphone One Number Concept). The interface of the RCC app in myApps is identical to the interface of the Phone app and Softphone app. With the Profile app, the user can manually configure the end device that is to be controlled. These settings can be changed anytime.
Outbound calls via the RCC app are initiated by the innovaphone PBX in form of a callback to the preconfigured phone number. Then, the call will be established to the destination phone number. With inbound calls, the default phone plus the device with the preconfigured phone number will both ring (call forking).
