Sindelfingen, January 24th, 2019 – innovaphone myApps is new and different – yet it is the logical continuance of the existing innovaphone product portfolio. The Sindelfingen-based specialist for unified communications and IP telephony now makes the comprehensive functionalities of an enterprise solution available on an app platform. Fixed and mobile communication, communication at work and at home merge to form a uniform solution environment. An exciting fact: the developer community is actively involved.

For innovaphone’s developers, the new myApps communication environment is a milestone in the endeavour to create the "workplace of the future": myApps is based on a completely new concept, which places high demands on the company’s technology partners by actively involving them. "innovaphone provides the framework, which is entirely based on web technology. Our partners and our own software specialists are invited to develop their own apps on this basis. The innovaphone development environment ensures, among other things, that the apps run with the same look and feel on all devices used – whether smartphones, PCs, or other devices,” explains Dagmar Geer, CEO of innovaphone AG. "myApps greatly simplifies the installation and operability of the innovaphone PBX, both for company administrators and our business partners."

The Sindelfingen-based manufacturer itself presents a communication solution on the myApps platform that already includes far-reaching functionalities such as telephony, chat, application sharing, conferencing, fax, voicemail and presence. Thus the innovaphone PBX, which already includes a sophisticated IP telephony and unified communications solution, is extended to include applications that have already been developed as well as applications that are but future dreams and do not even exist yet in the users’ imagination. myApps is therefore conceptually a “work in progress”, which is continuously being developed further. Like the innovaphone apps, the apps developed by third parties can also be marketed via the innovaphone App Store.

As is usual for the innovaphone PBX, the compact innovaphone VoIP gateways in their stainless steel housing form the hardware basis for all applications. They are available in various dimensions, depending on the size of the company. All innovaphone solutions can be operated both on-premises and in the cloud.
