App Licenses

App licenses are licenses that license an app in the myApps communications environment. A lot of innovaphone apps do not require a license or are activated via a Feature license. The following apps require a license or the license of the corresponding feature.

1. Phone App License

The Phone App is an interface to manage an IP phone. This can either be an innovaphone end device, a DECT handset or an IP phone of a different manufacturer. A variety of CTI functionalities are made available to the user via the Phone app.

One license per Phone App user with any number of devices

Specifics

• This license is user-based. This license is debited if the function is configured for a user on the PBX – irrespective of the usage.
• The Phone App license version must be greater than or the same as the PBX software version & app software version being used (License Version).
• The Phone App license is also part of the UC license (UC License).

2.  Softphone App License

The Softphone App serves as a virtual telephone on any device such as a Windows / Mac computer and smartphone (Android & iOS). Audio and video calls can easily be initiated and answered via this app. Only requirement is that the end device has audio input and output, in addition to a camera function (please note that video calls require a separate Video license). In addition to typical functions of classic IP telephony and versatile UCC functions, the user can further dial into a virtual myApps meeting directly, using the Softphone App. If desired, individual calls can easily be recorded directly from within the Softphone App (Recording License required for this function).

• The Softphone App license is also part of the UC license (UC License).
• A Phone App license is mandatory to be able to use the Softphone App.

3.  Premium Chat App License

A license-free version of the Chat App is included in the innovaphone PBX and myApps communications environment.
The innovaphone Premium Chat App license complements the features of the free Chat App with the ability to send data attachments, to start group chats with select people or the image preview when sending pictures / graphics. Furthermore, the Premium Chat provides a persistent chat history (chat history is preserved), displays badge count notifications (number of unread messages) and allows you to receive offline messages.

4.  Conference App License

With its well-structured user interface, the Conference App allows admins to set up and manage virtual conference rooms via mouse click. The app enables users to manage several rooms in parallel, send out invitations for myApps meetings and assign flexible dial-in PINs for enhanced security. The organizer of a meeting has several options to moderate and guide the initiated virtual meeting. It is possible to see at a glance who is participating in the conference and who is currently speaking. The organizer can mute other participants.

myApps meetings are scheduled within the Conference app and invitations to these meetings are also sent from within the app directly.

The number of conference participants depends on the number of available conference channels (PBX Channels License).

Licensing

Per user who wants to set up and operate conference rooms conveniently via the app. Any number of conference rooms can be managed with one license.

5.  RCC App License

The RCC App (Remote Call Control app) is used to operate a wide array of end devices via the familiar and intuitive myApps interface, and to accept or make calls via the app. When using the RCC App, the user can always be reached at the own extension, no matter which end device is being used and no matter whether incoming or outgoing calls are involved (innovaphone One Number concept).
 
The RCC App as such does not require a license. It can either be used as a complement to the UC license, or with the Phone App license in combination with the Mobility license.

6. Voicemail App License

The Voicemail app as such does not require a license. For details about licensing the Voicemail feature please check: Voicemail User License (incl. Voicemail App)

7.  Fax App License

The Fax app as such does not require a license. For details about licensing the Fax feature please check: Fax License (incl. Fax App)

The Fax app allows PDF documents to be sent to fax recipients and faxes can be received as PDF documents. With the Fax2Mail function, fax documents can also be received directly in the own email inbox, and forwarded with one single click.

In order to register the fax interface and the fax object with each other, a Port license is required in addition to the Fax license.

8.  Switchboard App License

The Switchboard app is a professional software-based switchboard workstation which offers convenient call management. It enables the operation of a modern, professional telephone switchboard workstation for the innovaphone PBX – at one location or also for distributed systems and regardless of whether the system is installed on site or operated from the cloud.

9.  Recordings App License

The Recordings App is an app for playing back and managing recorded calls. Within the Recordings App, recordings are displayed; they can be played back, deleted and downloaded.

The Recordings App as such does not require a license. For details about licensing the Recordings features, including the Recordings App, please check: Recording License.

Specifics

• A user with the respective authorization can also manage recordings of other users with the Recordings App.

10.  innovaphone myApps Connector for Microsoft 365 App License

The innovaphone myApps Connector for Microsoft 365 synchronizes the Teams presence and the call status of Teams users with the innovaphone PBX. The current status (available, away, busy, on the phone etc.) is transferred in real-time and displayed within myApps.

Per user who would like to use the innovaphone myApps Connector for Microsoft 365.

11.  Connector for kuando® App License

The Connector for kuando® provides visibility of the user’s presence status and availability through status synchronization between myApps and other 3^rd party apps for telephony or conferencing (such as MS Teams, Zoom, Webex).

12.  Connector for kuando® with Busylight App License

The Connector for kuando® with Busylight provides visibility of the user’s presence status and availability. For one, through status synchronization between myApps and other 3^rd party apps for telephony or conferencing (such as MS Teams, Zoom, Webex). Optionally, the kuando® Busylight visually indicates the respective status with colored LED lights. Please note that the busylight is sold separately. This license works exclusively in combination with the busylight.

Per user who would like to use the Connector for kuando® with Busylight.

13.  myPhoneKeys App License

With the myPhoneKeys app, any registered innovaphone desk phone (IP11x, IP10x, IP2x2, IP1x0) can be operated and configured remotely. It is possible to configure function keys, activate or deactivate call forwarding, mute the ringtone and more.

Licensing

Per user who would like to make use of the myPhoneKeys app. Any number of innovaphone desk phones can be managed.

14.  Working App License

The innovaphone Working App enables employees to digitally record their working times as well as break times in an easy manner. Once the entries are submitted to HR, they can no longer be edited, making them tamper-proof. The app automatically considers legal regulations on working hours, break times and rest periods as well as working on Sundays and on public holidays.

Licensing

Per user who would like to make use of the Working App. One Working App license provides access to both apps (Working Manager App & Working User App).

• This license is user-based. This license is debited if the function is configured for a user on the PBX – irrespective of the usage.
• The Working App license version must be greater than or the same as the PBX software version & app software version being used (License Version)
• The Working App solely requires a user license. Additional licenses such as the port license are not required.
• One Working App license enables access to both apps (Working Manager and Working User).

15.  Connect App License

The Connect App is a virtual message board, an interactive platform to exchange information and a working tool all in one. All information is available in one place, and easily accessible via keywords and specific communication channels. Anybody can contribute to all discussions: That is how digital collaboration for modern corporate communications of tomorrow looks like.

Per user who wants to use the Connect App

Specifics

• This license is user-based. This license is debited if the function is configured for a user on the PBX – irrespective of the usage.
• The first 200 discussions per installation are free of charge.
• The Connect App license version must be greater than or the same as the PBX software version & app software version being used (License Version)
• The Connect App solely requires a user license. Additional licenses such as the port license are not required.
