myApps for Next-Generation Corporate Communication & Work Organization

Sindelfingen, 15 January 2024 - The recently released version 14 of innovaphone myApps allows companies to completely rethink and redesign the way communication and work are organized. With the Connect App, the Sindelfingen-based manufacturer has created a social platform that makes employee communication interactive and transparent while largely eliminating the need for internal e-mail correspondence. The new Contact Widgets App makes contacting customers via the website much easier and more efficient. Multiple improvements to the already mature telephone and UCC solution as well as a large number of new applications facilitate both collaboration within the company and administration of the myApps platform.

Corporate communication as a new concept: the innovaphone Connect App is a fundamental game changer as it shifts the way information is exchanged between employees and between departments – from push (e-mail) to pull. The interactive platform allows users to access the exact information they need and also to share all the information required for team collaboration. Thus the flood of information and any ping-pong communication by email is replaced by a transparent discussion platform. Of course, confidential information that should not be shared throughout the company can be shared in protected areas within the app. Information can be filtered in advance by using hashtags and personal areas (so-called channels) that can be pinned so that employees can quickly gain an overview of everything that is important and are always up to date.

The second major highlight of the new version V14 is the Contact Widgets App. Contact widgets are embedded to offer visitors to the website easy access to quickly initiate a call, video call, email or chat at just one click of the mouse. Additional hurdles such as filling in a contact form are a thing of the past. This allows companies to optimise the quality and quantity of their customer contact and to generate more leads.

Additional new app developments are aimed at productivity in everyday working life, thus reflecting innovaphone’s current claim “more than communication”: For example, the Notes App for concise management of notes, the Search App, which reliably searches the entire myApps interface for a certain term, and the TechAssist App, which helps technicians to find and solve problems and misconfigurations. The new Working App is another practical tool that meets the legal requirements for recording working time - and does so with an extremely lean, smart application. The “Improvements and New Features” section summarizes technical improvements to existing myApps applications and functional enhancements that the innovaphone development team has also implemented within version V14.
